I seem to recollect that Rank photographic were the importers of Mamiya in the sixties/early seventies and they had their name put on Mamiya cameras, hence the Rank-Mamiya.

I have a couple of Rank-Mamiya 35mm cameras (a 4B rangefinder and an Auto-Lux 35 SLR). Does anyone know what the link was between Rank and Mamiya or why the cameras were branded with both names? Thanks
