Did you have any luck with this issue?

Thanks, but the problem is that the only Mamiya service center here in Finland is "off-line" because they are moving to another address. They can't answer any phone calls.
Are there so many different Pro-S backs that this information cannot be given straight? On another Mamiya forum (www.macuserforums.com) someone said that 1/16" and 1/8" are indeed the correct thickness. Even an unofficial confirmation would be nice
If the next thicknesses cover my needs, then I'm ok: 1/32", 1/16", 3/32" 1/8"

Severi,
I suggest you contact the Mamiya service agents in your country to be sure of getting the correct material/dimensions. Too thin and it may not provide a light-tight seal, too thick and it could cause undue pressure on the hinge.

Hello,
I'm planning to replace the detoriated light seals of my Mamiya RB67 Pro-S film back myself. All I need to know is the thickness of the sealing foam material. Is it 1/16" or something else? Or does the actual thickness matter if I use material that is not too thin. Can it be too thick (within reason)?
Best regards, Severi Salminen
