If it fits either way round it does not matter. I seem to recollect the instructions for the early backs stating that they could be fitted with the film tabs to the right or left, whichever is more convenient.

Does it matter which orientation I choose for it?

By that I mean does it matter if the dark slide is on the left or on the right as I look through the lens as it will fit on either way around?
