The Mamiya 645AF incorporates automated TLL (off-the-film) flash control, with an X-sync hot shoea nd dedictaed circuitry. The flash system is compatible with the Metz SCA3000 System, which provides exceptional flash control.

Using a Metz flash with SCA3951 adapter enables transfer of aperture, film speed, exposure compensation and other data for automated synchronisation as well as power zoom control link and automatic operation of the AF sub-beam. All this technology provides versatile flash photography capability, particularly for daylight fill-flash and other applications.
